Smith Family Reunion
|
|
This intimate affair started on Friday the 13th 12noon-6pm at Allen Pond Park hosting a Fish Fry/Crab Feast. Some family came straight to the park before checking into their hotel because they said they didn't want to miss anything. We ate played games, just had fun. At 7pm-until we had meet and greet along with Drinks/Appetizers at the Hostess home where all the family and friends received their Prestigious Prince Georges Gift Bag. This was a day of all laughter. On Saturday morning a full breakfast was held at the hostess home and she can cook so everyone totally enjoyed it something for everyone to enjoy. After breakfast and a little mingling everyone headed back to the hotel because our chartered bus would pick us up there for our tour/cruise at 1pm. We arrived in Baltimore for our tour of The Blacks in Wax Museum Tour. And if there is anyone that has not taken this tour you should add it to one of the things to do list. I knew i had to allow my family and friends to share this history together. There were some people in awe and some that want to go back again like my 84 year old dad. So i will be taking him back so he can take his time. Then there was the Dinner Cruise on the Bay Lady at the Baltimore Harbor which was all fun with surprise entertainment from one of our 12yr. old family member from N.Y. He did a mimeming show for us and we ate and danced until 10pm then the bus took us back to the hotel. The final Day was continental Breakfast at the hostess home and Church Service (optional) so we gave our Hugs/Kisses and said our good-byes until we meet or talk again. Family and friend said we definitely Rolled out the Red Carpet and Thank you Prince Georges Visitors Center For the key chains and all the literature you provided for this very special occasion.
