Where Families Come Together

  We would love to share some of the best stories families have shared with us.
Foul Weather
2006 Friday,Potomac Knolls Ft Washington, Md rain all day. Function start at 5:00 pm power goes out in the center 1:00 pm. Having the faith we still go and try to make the best of the situtation. We decide to use flashlights, candles and any other source of light. Guest start arriving at 5:00 pm we explain we is going on they decide to stay and enjoy this get together with our family even if the food might me cold and the lights are dim. By the time eveyone arrive the power comes back on like magic. Saturday cookout at Cameron Run the day is cold,chilly and some rain. We still go out in the park with jackets and people standing close to the grills for the warmth of the heat that is cooking the burgers. By the end of the day sun peeks it head out of a minute or two. Sunday the sun is out the day is warm but guess what the function this day is inside. We had back weather in 2006 for the reunion but we still had fun and it was not the 1st time weather has try to stop it and it probably won't be the last.
